  • 2 1/2 cups of water
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 Star anises pieces
  • 2 Cardamom pods
  • 1 tbsp of whole clove
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp all spice
  • 1 tbsp black tea like assam or any other tea with very mild fragrant


  1. Add all the ingredients except the tea with the water in a pot.
  2. Bring to boil and lee it there for 15 mins.
  3. Let the temperature to drop to 70C.
  4. Let it for 3-4 mins or until it get to the strength you want.
  5. Serve with a cinnamon stick and a slice of orange.
